Raised in Guarujá, an island off the coast of São Paulo state in Brazil, Priscilla first came to Canada in 2015 as an undergrad exchange student in the Biology Program at the University of Ottawa. After graduating from an Erasmus Mundus Master’s Program in Environmental Sciences, Policy & Management in 2020, she moved to Gatineau (QC) and joined Nature Canada in February 2022 as an intern.

Priscilla’s experiences range from high-level decision-making processes and policy development to species-specific research and fieldwork. Her passion lies in taking active part in holistic & collaborative approaches that can facilitate society’s transition towards a healthier way of living while also contributing to the healing of the human relationship with nature. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and exploring hiking/biking trails in Gatineau Park and surrounding areas!
