Julie joined Nature Canada in 2024, bringing a diverse set of skills with her. With a history of entrepreneurship from running her own art business and a dog-walking company, as well as roles managing teams of people across multiple industries and roles, Julie knows how to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

In her free time, Julie loves to take in the natural beauty around her. Growing up in Alberta she made frequent trips to the Rocky Mountains that instilled a sense of awe that remains to this day. From long hikes in the forest with her dog, to enjoying her paddle board on a beautiful clear lake or admiring her backyard birds, Julie is at her happiest and most peaceful when she’s outside and surrounded by animals.
