David Wallis

Policy and Campaign Manager for Reforestation

Having previously worked on Parliament Hill since 2017, David has worked on several parliamentary committees including the Standing Committees on the Environment and Sustainable Development, Indigenous and Northern Affairs, Natural Resources, Foreign Affairs, and Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics, as well as the Special Committee on the Economic Relationship between Canada and the United States.

Growing up spending large amounts of time in the forests south of Algonquin Park, David gained a deep love and appreciation for the natural world at a young age and especially for the Laurentian and Carolinian forests of Ontario. In his spare time he also serves on the Forests Committee for a non-profit organization with an aim towards preserving a large area of forests, lakes, and wetlands in Central Ontario.
