Born and raised in Mexico. Samantha moved to Canada in 2021 to pursue an undergrad degree in Environmental Science at the University of Ottawa. During this time, Samantha first came to Nature Canada as a volunteer in Fundraising & Development, later in the year joining as the Fundraising Coordinator.

Samantha is passionate about creating an environment where everyone can thrive and live their best lives, by acknowledging the disparities that racialized groups experience, and actively working to make that change. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and crocheting for her loved ones.
