Simon L’Allier

Senior Nature Network Organizer

A forever passionate of wildlife, Simon has dedicated the last few years working with various species. He cared for chimpanzees in a Québec sanctuary, studied vervet monkeys in Uganda, and rehabilitated wildlife in Alberta. More recently, he supported ocean conservation efforts in the Atlantic, more specifically to protect the critically endangered North Atlantic right whales.

Simon is also very active in educating the public about climate change in various ways and believes that protecting and restoring nature is about bringing people together. He holds a BSc in anthropology from Université de Montréal and an MSc in biology from York University. You may be able to spot him attempting to demonstrate his primate skills at a local rock climbing gym.
