Lessons in a Backpack are fantastic tools designed to engage children and help them understand their connection with the natural world. By participating in a schoolyard Bioblitz, students can share and contribute to data monitoring and collection programs in Ontario. The class or group will make observations in the schoolyard or area of choice, making the activity a great introduction to future citizen science opportunities.
