Nature Canada

Bird Friendly City – Community Activity Book

This bird activity book, created by Nature Canada (and partially adapted from Environment for the Americas resources), focuses on how to create safer built environments for birds. It includes activities like “Birdwatching Bingo” and a “Bird Behavior Scavenger Hunt”. The book also provides information on why it’s important to turn off lights at night, make windows visible to birds, plant native plants, reduce pesticide use, say no to plastics, keep pets under control, and choose shade-grown coffee to help protect birds. Additionally, it features a true or false quiz about bird safety and habitats.
