In the Ottawa area and looking for something to do on Family Day Feb. 18?
Come visit Nature Canada’s booth at the National Arts Centre downtown! The Centre is holding a special Family Day event that the NAC promises will feature “a cornucopia of hands-on activities for children and the people who love them!”
This year’s theme is animals, conservation and friendship — and Nature Canada will have a crafting table there, so we’d love to see you.
Your kids (and, okay, young-at-heart adults too) can create their own bird themed mask and learn about the Important Bird Area located right in Ottawa. Be sure to check out all the fun activities for children including stories, games, interactive displays and special workshops.
