Read the Canadian Press story →
“The poll suggests 80 per cent of Canadians want more protection even if it puts limits on the forestry industry. That support held even in British Columbia and Quebec, which both have major logging industries, and across education and income levels.”

Take Action
More than seven in ten Canadians support federal action to reduce the harm caused by industrial logging, including transparently reporting logging emissions, putting a price on wood burning by large companies, supporting international laws to advance sustainable logging, and phasing out clear-cutting.
You can help by adding your name to our Access to Information (ATIP) request calling on the federal government to reveal the true climate impacts of logging.
