Nature Canada

The 2020 Nature Photo Contest winner is…

Mama, more please! The Owls by Fan Song

“I found out a barred owl couple nested in the woods of Ottawa Greenbelt. I spent a lot of time with them in order to understand their behaviors. This picture was taken the late springtime when the first Owlet ventured the outside world. The Mom would fly to the Owlet every 15 to 30 minutes to preen and cuddle the kid. It was the sweetest time to capture this special moment in the beautiful spring setting! Feel the love between the great mom and the kid.” — Fan Song
