Support access to nature & conservation careers for youth by championing continued funding for programs like Work to Grow.

As Thanksgiving approaches, we reflect on what we’re grateful for and how we can continue making a difference for the future of conservation. The Work to Grow program has opened doors for many BIPOC youth to pursue meaningful work in nature and conservation, helping to break down barriers that have historically limited access to these sectors.

This fall, we’re launching a letter writing campaign to advocate for more opportunities for youth like you to access programs like Work to Grow. We’re asking our government leaders to continue funding the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) and Parks Canada’s youth employment programs to ensure that these career-building opportunities reach as many young people as possible.
