Heading down to a wetland for this next one. What’s that? Which bird is tough enough to plunge underwater when it’s -20 outside? Who’s looking for fish? Staying with waterbirds. What kind of female duck is this? Will this one stump you? Who’s nesting on that stump? Some birds are trickier when the sun isn’t at the right angle… Did you think we wouldn’t hit you with a sparrow? Can you identify this bird from its belly? Level 1 We said it was a tough quiz! However, with a few birding expeditions, you will soon know some of Canada’s more unique birds! Make sure you get a pair of binoculars and a bird ID book to really learn about our feathered friends.
