On Feminizing Canoe-Tripping: Why We Chose the Name “Lily Paddlers”

We seek to escape the busyness of our lives for a short time to find a deeper connection to nature, each other and ourselves. Over this past winter, I felt an emptiness in my heart that I could not quite place. I knew I missed a strong female presence in my life.
