Angela grew up in the Ottawa Valley, just outside of the nation\u2019s capital. Growing up, she was fortunate enough to be exposed to the wilderness, lakes, and rivers of the region through skiing, camping, hiking, canoeing, and rafting. Much of her love and appreciation of nature comes from these many experiences.<\/p>\n
She holds a Bachelor from Lakehead in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism with a specialization in Leadership. She is currently working towards a Not-For-Profit Management certificate from Western. Angela\u2019s mix of education, previous work experience in other non-profits, and pursuit of lifelong learning has brought her to Nature Canada as part of the Development team.<\/p>\n
She\u2019s thrilled to be a part of a dynamic group of people working towards protecting and advocating for our nation\u2019s vast wilderness and its wild creatures. Outside of work, in her spare time, Angela\u2019s busy checking out the many cultural events around the city, walking her dog, and finding ways to adventure outside and ground herself in nature.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
