Sherry Wu grew up in London, Ontario, before moving to Ottawa for university. She attended the University of Ottawa, earning her bachelor’s in Biology with a specialization in Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour. Since graduating, she has worked at various environmental non-profits with a focus on reducing barriers in the environmental sector through advancing equity, diversity, inclusion and decolonization work.

When she’s not working, she’s often sewing, reading outside, or attempting to make sourdough bread.
