Michaela Rutherford-Blouin

Senior Nature Network Organizer

Michaela, born and raised in Kemptville, Ontario, is the daughter of two educators. She has always had a passion for learning, connecting with people, and for social change. She has a breadth of experience from previously working on Parliament Hill. She has held roles with the Prime Minister of Canada’s Office, the Minister of Labour’s Office, and worked for the Liberal Party of Canada’s central office during the 2019 Federal Election. She graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON with a degree in Political Studies and a minor in Global Development Studies. 

Michaela loves getting active in nature! In her spare time, you can find her taking advantage of the bike paths in Ottawa/Gatineau, training for a marathon, or baking for friends and family!
