Anant Saini

Nature Network Organizer

Anant Saini was born and raised in Dish with One Spoon Wampum Treaty lands of the Wendat, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinabeck, and the Mississaugas of the New Credit. She is a political science nerd at heart, with a bachelors from the University of Toronto, and a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from McMaster University. She has over a decade of experience in grassroots community organizing including playing a lead role in the passage of legislation to decriminalize medical cannabis in New York State. Harnessing people power toward social justice change is her passion. On her time away from Nature Canada she freelances as a creative non-fiction writer and doting cat parent to fur babies Mitz and Fitz.
