Mr. Saul is a well-known environmental leader and one of the founding members of Ecology Ottawa, a not-for-profit, grassroots and volunteer-driven organization working to make Ottawa the green capital of Canada. He has more than twenty years of experience working with social and environmental organizations such as Climate Action Network Canada, the Washington, D.C.-based Bank Information Center, Friends of the Earth Canada and Oil Change International.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is a great pleasure to welcome Graham to the Nature Canada team,” says Bob Peart, Chair of Nature Canada’s Board of Directors. “We’re excited to have someone who is passionate about nature and the environment, and so concerned about the climate. We’re confident he will build on Nature Canada’s strong foundation and leadership team which has been firmly established by our outgoing Executive Director, Eleanor Fast.” Added Peart, “We’d also like to extend our sincerest thanks and deep appreciation to Eleanor for her work and wish her all the best in her new ventures.”

“It’s an exciting time to be at Nature Canada and I am honoured by the opportunity to join the team,” says Mr. Saul. “Nature Canada brings together an amazing staff in Ottawa, a network of over 350 nature organizations, and a community of more than 50,000 members and supporters. That’s a winning recipe at a time when we need real leadership in Canada.”
