Photo of the Month

"I've just photographed one of a litter of this spring's fox pups. The picture was taken atop Mount Royal, in the centre of Montreal.

"Foxes are often seen up there, where they feast on squirrels, chipmunks, ground hogs, etc. This particular litter numbered five, as far as I could see... however, someone did mention seeing as many as seven pups.

"While I was snapping this young one, I noticed that one of the others was dragging around a racoon carcass!"
