Bird Conservation Program Technician

Bio:

Sarantia completed her Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. As the Bird Conservation Program Technician, she primarily focuses on outreach and conservation planning for the Canada Warbler (a species at risk). Sarantia has extensive experience working with species at risk such as Eastern Milksnakes, Blanding’s turtles, and Chimney Swifts. She is passionate about wildlife conservation and enjoys fieldwork.

Growing up in Deep River, Ontario, Sarantia developed a love for nature at a young age. She loves anything outdoors, from whitewater canoe tripping and cycling in the summer to cross-country skiing and snowboarding in the winter.
