Megan comes to Nature Canada from the east coast and has been enjoying life in Ottawa for over five years.
She likes working with migratory birds like the Purple Martin because it perfectly combines her interest in biogeography and international conservation initiatives. Her work allows her to travel to field sites throughout Ontario and work directly with other nature groups, community members, and individuals with Purple Martin colonies on their property.
Megan holds a Bachelor degree in Geography and Environment and a Master in Environmental Science from Mount Allison University . She has a history of working in the non-profit sector and internationally throughout Central America.
Outside of work Megan often enjoys creative activities like salsa dancing, cooking, painting, and playing music.
