Emily Palmer

Fundraising and Administrative Assistant

Emily is originally from Whitby, Ontario and moved to Ottawa in 2012 to attend the University of Ottawa. With a major Political Science and a minor in Aboriginal Studies, Emily fell in love with what the city had to offer, and decided to stay in Ottawa.

After graduating, Emily went to California for two weeks with her sister to drive the coast and hike Big Sur. The trip allowed her to strengthen her passion for nature and love for spending as much time outside as she can. During the summer, Emily loves running along the Ottawa River, hiking in Gatineau Park and camping in different places when given the chance, such as in the 1000 islands and Gatineau Park. In the winter, she loves watching hockey and playing hockey on the outdoor rink.
